It is primarily made from plastic #5, considered one of the safest polymers for humans since it doesn’t leach chemicals even at high temperatures. Inside the button mechanism, a food-safe plastic (POM) and a stainless steel spring are used.

• Will snacks spill between compartments?
  Snacks will stay separated as long as they are solid. Liquid or loose items may shift if the Snack Spinner is not stored flat.

• What snacks are recommended?
  Dry or moist solid foods work best. Avoid snacks with a liquid consistency like applesauce. Examples include cheerios, goldfish, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, blueberries, oranges, mango, animal crackers, cheese, and pretzel sticks.
