Doctor's Best Lutein featuring Lutemax® 20mg supports healthy visual function and macular pigment density as well as supporting mental focus. Lutemax® is a patented formula containing lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin, three carotenoid nutrients.
Lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin are pigments in a class of carotenoids called xanthophylls which the body does not synthesize. These three nutrients are referred to as “the macular pigments,” as they are the only carotenoids found in the lens and macular region of the retina of the human eye. They are prominent carotenoids in our blood and various body tissues and they work synergistically to support eye health. They are also potent free radical neutralizers that contribute to the body’s spectrum of antioxidant defences.

Zeaxanthin 4mg

Other Ingredients: Sunflower oil, gelatin (capsule), glycerin, purified water.
Directions
Adults: Take one soft gel daily, with or without food, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
